Singing Gospel - Weekend Workshop

Step into the joyful power of gospel music! This uplifting weekend workshop is perfect for experienced singers who want to dive deeper into the rhythms, harmonies, and emotional expression of traditional and contemporary gospel songs—with a special seasonal focus on gospel Christmas music.

Under the inspiring guidance of jazz-gospel singer and vocal coach Elaine Thomas, participants will explore vocal techniques, group harmonies, rhythm training, and the rich meaning behind gospel lyrics. The focus will be on collaborative singing in a non-competitive, encouraging atmosphere.

This workshop is designed for participants with prior singing experience - whether in choirs, ensembles, or bands - who want to deepen their skills and confidence. There will be no solo singing required, unless participants choose to do so. Emphasis is on joyful expression, teamwork, and vocal development, not performance pressure.
