Art in English: Conversations at the Kunsthalle

Once a month, we meet at the Hamburger Kunsthalle to explore art and speak English. Whether it's classical masterpieces, modern highlights, or cutting-edge contemporary exhibitions – the Kunsthalle’s vast collection, spanning over 700 years of art and human experience, offers endless opportunities for engaging conversations.
Art in English is a conversational English course for anyone who wants to improve their spoken English in a creative, inspiring setting. Through lively discussions about artworks, artists, and the cultural themes they reflect, participants expand their vocabulary and gain confidence in speaking.
The course is led by an experienced artist who has exhibited internationally, collaborated with renowned artists of the 20th and 21st centuries, and worked in several of Hamburg’s art institutions – including many years with the VHS.
