How ChatGPT Works: A Gentle Introduction to Machine Learning
The logic that drives Artificial Intelligence (AI)
With the rise of tools like ChatGPT, artificial intelligence is no longer a distant, technical concept. It is becoming part of everyday life, showing up in everything from writing assistants to customer support systems. But behind these impressive tools lies something even more important: the core ideas that make them work.
This course invites you to explore those ideas. Rather than diving straight into advanced applications, we will focus on the essential building blocks of machine learning. You will gain a clear and intuitive understanding of how machines learn from data, make predictions, and generate responses. No technical background is required: what matters most is learning to think in the way these systems do.
We will also explore how this foundational knowledge helps explain the logic behind modern AI tools such as Large Language Models. By understanding the general principles, you will be better equipped to evaluate their output, ask better questions, and know what to expect from them, whether you are using them for work, study, or simply out of curiosity.
By the end of the course, you will have a grounded and accessible understanding of machine learning. Whether you want to experiment with AI, talk about it with more confidence, or simply make sense of the technology shaping the world around you, this course will help you take the first step.
